Who we are
Octet Partners (“Octet”) is an independent referral broker. We identify businesses whose operating records may be of interest to AI labs and other data buyers, explain the process, and, with the business’s permission, introduce it to a buyer.
How we are paid
Octet is compensated by data buyers, typically as a referral fee or commission, only if a deal with a business we introduced closes and the buyer is paid. Because we are paid by buyers, we have a financial interest in introductions resulting in deals. We never charge the businesses we refer, and we never share or rebate our fees with them.
No agency or authority
Octet is not an employee, agent, partner, joint venturer or authorized representative of any data buyer. We cannot negotiate, quote, accept or guarantee any price, term or timeline for a buyer, and we cannot sign anything or make any commitment for a buyer. Every deal is solely between the business and the buyer, and the buyer controls its own terms.
Octet is also not your legal, tax, financial or investment adviser. Review any proposed agreement with your own counsel.

Illustrative range only, based on your answers and public market information. It is not an offer, quote or valuation from Octet or any data buyer. Any actual price is set solely by a buyer after its own review, and many companies are not accepted.

Buyer confidentiality
The identities, priorities and pipelines of the buyers we work with are confidential, and we do not disclose them publicly. Statements on this site describe the market generally and are not statements on behalf of any buyer. Buyers’ requirements change over time and acceptance is at each buyer’s sole discretion.
Your data
Octet never requests, receives or holds a business’s files, data exports, credentials or system access. We only collect the answers and contact details you submit through this site, as described in our privacy policy, and we share them with a buyer only after you approve that buyer.
